How do i get rid of Trojan.Brisv.A!inf,on vista, tried symantec tool but did not work,im not a techy thanks?

I've been trying to fix this all day!! I finally found out how!! turn you computer off. Turn it back on and press and hold f8. Choose to turn you computer on in safe mode (just safe mode, not with the other options). Go to the file that has the virus, you will now be able to delete it like normal!!! Be sure to delete it from the recycle bin while you're in safe mode. Now turn you computer back off and turn it on again and press f8 while truning it on then choose to run it in normal mode. It should be gone!!! Hope that helps!! =D
