I keep having a repetitive dream of my girlfriend cheating on me with her ex that im sure she hates?

I mean I'm pretty sure she wouldnt do such a thing with him of all people thats what boggles me why am i having this dream? p.s at the end of every single dream thats has to do with this I end up hurting him and i blank after that
