I think you're on the right track. Look at things like Lord of the Rings - invented names that called to mind ociations with more familiar names, but were poetical and fitting to the character in their own right. You're doing the same thing - pulling in names from myths that everyone is familiar with on some level, and carefully applying them to the unique qualities of your own characters. Personally, I like the names you've listed - they're unusual and striking. Such attention to detail is rare, and I think it bodes well for your writing prospects.
