What's the big deal with the Beckhams??

Is this yet another case of the mainstream media making a mountain out of a molehill? She is a blonde popstar with marginal talent, he is an over-paid, somewhat better than average athlete whos ego far outweighs his talent (Yes, I have looked at his stats, there is nothing mind boggling there). Well there's a couple of things we don't have enough of in this country!!
