I don't know whether you can do it (depends on the version numbers), but no - he won't know. (Outlook doesn't directly contact anything further than your company's email server - and I ume he's not the network admin.) Unless you send an email to someone you're not supposed to have the email address for - but that's a social question, not a computer question. :)
