I don't have a Samsung Instinct but my brother does. The phone is AWESOME. Its very light and very usable. It comes with two batteries, so the battery should not be a problem. My brother watches videos on it all the time and his battery still holds up pretty well. Where I live, I get coverage pretty much everywhere. The internet is fast and at times faster than my wireless internet at home. I don't think my brother has experienced any drop calls because he would have definitely complained about it. We have bee with them for 4 years.
